Animals like Fred and Ginger, two 9-year-old Chihuahuas, were helped by the generous support of donors to the Cinderella Fund. These two best buddies came to the SF SPCA with a variety of medical issues. Fred had abnormal liver enzyme levels and a partially atrophied jaw. Ginger had hypothyroidism and severe dental issues.
The SF SPCA was able to care for them both by providing medication or treatment for all of their medical needs. Once they were feeling better, Fred and Ginger were back to their normal selves. Fred is an outgoing little guy who will always be the first to greet you; Ginger is a bit more shy, but she adores chin rubs and romps in the park.
